You don't have to be  a Polish national to open a bank account in Poland. Usually only a pass and a confirmation of your residence in Poland is required.
Normal banking hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
